CAPITAL CITY THANKSGIVING INVITATIONAL

This annual mid-season High School tournament will take place over Thanksgiving Weekend at the St James ice facilities in Springfield, Va, featuring head-to-head matchups of both Prep and Varsity level teams.

DIVISION | LEVEL | TEAM STRUCTURE

• High School Prep – Highly Competitive High School Hockey Varsity Teams
• High School Varsity – Competitive High School Hockey Varsity and Jr. Varsity Teams

*High School Varsity & Jr. Varsity Teams Only; No Travel/Select/Tournament Teams permitted. 

SCHEDULE STRUCTURE

4 GAME MINIMUM

Each team will play a minimum of four (4) games throughout the tournament event. See the example schedule below:

• Friday | 1-2 Games [Games will start at 10 am and end at 10:30 pm]
• Saturday | 2 Games [Games will start at 9 am and end at 11:30 pm]
• Sunday | 1 or More Games Possible [Games will start at 9 am and end at 11:30 pm]

*Eastern time ZONE TEAMS should expect to play starting at 10 am on Friday.

 *Central/Mountain/Pacific Time zone Teams should expect to play starting at 2 pm on Friday.

*Championship / Semi-Final Rounds will be held Sunday for all divisions [Games will start at 8 am and end by 3:00 pm] **PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY**

*All Games will be played at the St James (https://www.thestjames.com/)

*Additional rinks may be added or listed rinks removed/changed as needed. 

*Game Schedules will be released approximately 7-10 days before the start of the tournament, if not sooner.
